Students are introduced to the art of hand embroidery, learning foundational techniques and creating their first textile artwork.

Skills:

• Essential embroidery stitches

• Pattern transfer techniques

• Color and thread selection

Embroidered hoop or decorative textile

Week 2: Sewing & Creative Crafts (July 13–17)

A hands-on introduction to sewing through practical, wearable, and functional projects.

Projects:

• Pillowcase

• Fabric accessories (scrunchies, headbands)

• Tote bag

Skills:

• Sewing machine basics (guided)

• Hand sewing techniques

• Fabric cutting and construction

Week 3: Draping & Fashion Design (July 20–24)

Students explore fashion design through draping fabric directly on a mannequin.

Skills:

• Draping fundamentals

• Fabric manipulation and shaping

• Understanding silhouette and proportion

• Basic sewing skills

Final Piece:
Draped muslin skirt 

Week 4: Beginner Embroidery (July 27–31)

A second embroidery session—ideal for new students or those continuing to refine their skills.

Focus:

• Reinforcing foundational stitches

• Creating more detailed designs

• Developing personal style

Final Piece:
Detailed embroidered textile artwork
